The ROOF is on! Tyvek? - Mar 21st

For the past week and a half we've forgotten to bring our camera to our house.  Jared finally remembered today!  Our roof was on last week but this week it's been kind of slow.  We do have a fireplace now and I know they are planning to pour our porches this week.  Things seem to move a bit slower now that the outside is mostly done (or so I've been told).   Hopefully ours will keep moving smoothly.

DuPont™ Tyvek® HomeWrap® has the optimum balance of properties for superior performance against the elements and the competition. When using Tyvek® HomeWrap® you can be assured you are using the brand leader in weather resistant barriers.
A weather resistant barrier is a building's main protection against the damaging effects of the elements. A funtioning barrier must include four basic properties:
It must have a high level of AIR RESISTANCE - to help prevent drafts, reduce energy bills and resist the flow of moisture laden air through wall cavities.
It must have a high level of WATER RESISTANCE - to help protect the wall cavity from water that gets behind the cladding.
It must have moderate to high VAPOR PERMEABILITY - to promote drying in wall systems.
It must be DURABLE - to withstand the rigors of the construction site and continue to perform once construction is completed.

Thanks! I am way excited about the kitchen. There is so much cabinet space and the pantry is large too! A dream come true!
